Kim, a Professional Agrologist and has been working in the Canadian agricultural sector for over 20 years. Kim’s experience nationally and internationally in project management including research and analysis as well as local involvement in farming provides the CHTA with a depth of experience required to move the organization ahead. “The Board of Directors is excited and invested in the future of hemp and having strong leadership in our office will assist us in achieving our aggressive plans for growing our industry”, says President Fata. “The tremendous potential that exists for hemp is what draws me to the industry. I look forward to being part of the emergence of an industry sector, a crop, which has such widespread application. We have the potential to be a major contributor to Canada’s agriculture future”, says Executive Director, Shukla. The mission of Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance is to create an economically sustainable Canadian hemp industry, benefitting all stakeholders along the value chain and enhancing the nation’s health and natural environment.
